Word for Today:  May 20, 2008

Do you not know?  Have You not heard?  I AM the I AM.  Nothing surprises Me; nothing
thwarts My purposes.  I take all things (ALL THINGS) and use them ultimately for good
in light of eternity in the lives of those who serve Me.  It is not easy?  Did you expect it
to be?  It was not easy for My Son.  It will not be easy for you.  It is the price of loving, of
serving.  Do you think I enjoy the sinfulness of My people?  Do you not know how their
faithlessness grieves Me?  If you are to have My heart for My purposes in order to fulfill
the kingdom work for which I created you, then expect to suffer in body, mind and
heart.  Expect it and do not flee from it for even in it (especially in it), you remain safe in
My arms.   Never will I let you be snatched from My hand for eternity.  Never.  You can
walk away from Me. But I will never walk away from you.  In your darkest of moments
there I am beside you, whether you recognize Me or not. There I am protecting,
providing, making the path before You, loving You even when You don’t love me.  My
love is not dependent upon Yours.  If it were, then My love would cease for so many do
not know who I am or do not choose to love Me back because they love themselves and
their lives on earth more than who I AM.  But still I love them, for if they really knew Me,
then they would not turn away.  If they really knew Me, they would bow before Me,
breathless at My awesome, supreme nature.  I am their one true King!!!  You are the
lamp through which I desire to shine My Light of truth and draw them near.  You are the
lamp on the hill shining in the window of My heavenly mansion to help them find their
way home.  Walk no more in fear.  I say it again, walk no more in fear.  Yes, there are
dangers, but I will protect you.  Walk instead in confident trust of a child – My child.  
Hold My hand and sing your beautiful songs of love to Me.  I will never disappoint and
others will indeed see Me shining through you in your trust, in your peace (which stem
from Me) and find Me as well – and your purpose for Me in Me and through Me will be
accomplished and your life will be a delight to you beginning now for all eternity.  Selah!
(Pause and calmly think of that!)
